Claire has books in her blood and tattooed on her skin. With a librarian mother and libraries as one of her first jobs, the book world has always felt like home.

When she rejoined the library service in 2020 she used her business and networking skills and began interviewing authors about their books for the service. She always aims to make authors think about their books in a different way and prides herself on never asking ordinary questions! Claire now interviews online in The Authors Lounge, for library services and for Waterstones.  She successfully hosted the panels for the inaugural #RespectRomFic event interviewing 7 authors in one night. She reads for the BBC and other well-known book groups and was named one of the #IAlso Top Female Entrepreneurs of 2024.
